Child & Youth Group Care Program
Our Child and Youth Group Care Program provides 24-hour staffed living accommodations for children and youth with complex physical, mental, and emotional needs. The program prioritizes safety, well-being, and individualized care, ensuring that each child or youth receives holistic support tailored to their unique strengths and challenges.
Through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and strength-based approach, we create a nurturing, home-like environment that promotes personal growth, skill development, and emotional healing. We focus on empowering children and youth by fostering independence and building self-esteem, while also offering access to education, advocacy, and community integration.
By employing the least restrictive measures, we support children and youth in accessing their communities and forming meaningful relationships. The program also collaborates closely with families, community agencies, and local resources to ensure each individual has the tools and connections necessary to thrive in all aspects of life. Whether through life skills training, vocational support, or therapeutic services, the Child and Youth Group Care Program is committed to fostering a brighter, more empowered future for every child in our care.
The Transitional Years Programs
The Transitional Years Program is designed to support youth as they transition from adolescence into adulthood, providing the tools and resources needed for a successful and confident move toward independence. This program is tailored to individuals with complex needs, offering 24-hour staffed accommodations and individualized support to ensure each person’s emotional, physical, and social well-being is prioritized.
With a focus on skill development, the program prepares youth for adult responsibilities through life skills training, such as budgeting, cooking, and employment readiness. We also prioritize community integration, helping participants access education, vocational opportunities, and social connections, while maintaining an environment that emphasizes safety, dignity, and personal empowerment.
The program’s strength-based, trauma-informed approach allows youth to work at their own pace, with support from professionals who guide them through decision-making, goal setting, and self-advocacy. Collaborating with community agencies, families, and local resources, the Transitional Years Program ensures that youth are equipped with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to transition smoothly into adulthood, fostering resilience and long-term success.
Independence Horizons Program
The Independence Horizons Program is designed to support youth and young adults as they transition from adolescence to independent adulthood. The program provides 24-hour care and tailored support to individuals with complex needs, offering a safe and nurturing environment where they can develop essential life skills, build confidence, and prepare for the next phase of their lives.
Focused on fostering independence, the program helps participants master critical skills such as budgeting, cooking, employment readiness, and decision-making. Each individual works closely with trained professionals to create personalized goals and service plans that guide their transition into adulthood.
Through a strength-based, trauma-informed approach, Independence Horizons promotes self-advocacy, resilience, and personal growth. The program facilitates access to community resources, vocational training, educational opportunities, and peer connections, ensuring that participants are empowered to thrive both socially and economically.
By collaborating with families, community agencies, and local organizations, the Independence Horizons Program ensures that youth have the necessary support network and resources to successfully navigate the challenges of adulthood, achieve their personal goals, and reach their full potential.
